Priyanka Chopra Reveals Close Call With Eye Injury While Filming ‘Heads of State’ (Source: Instagram)
Priyanka Chopra is currently in the headlines for her Hollywood film 'Heads of State', which will be released soon. In this movie, she will be seen doing high-octane stunts. But recently Priyanka escaped a major accident on the set of this film. During a scene, her eye got injured. Due to this, a part of her eyebrow came out.
Priyanka Chopra recently appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show 'The Tonight Show'. In this, she spoke openly about the experience of shooting 'Heads of State'. Priyanka also told how many pranks were done on her during the shoot and how she tried to make friends between Idris Elba and John Cena.
Priyanka then told how she escaped a major accident on the set of 'Heads of State'. Talking about a scene, she said, 'There was a matte box in the camera, and I had to roll on the floor, and it was raining. And the camera had to come closer to me. So the camera operator came a little closer, and I came a little closer. In this process, a part of my eyebrow came off. My eye could also have gone. So I was very grateful that this did not happen.'
Priyanka further said, 'I just applied surgical glue there and glued it. Completed the shoot because I did not want to come back and shoot in the rain again.'
In 'Heads of State', Priyanka Chopra has played the role of an intelligence officer who is entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the heads of state, i.e., the Prime Minister of the UK and the President of the United States. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, this action-comedy stars Idris Elba, John Cena and Priyanka Chopra, apart from Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid and Sarah Niles. This film will be released on the OTT platform Prime Video on July 2.
